GERALD STOCKTON ~ BASS

Gerald was born in Durban, South Africa, into a musical family and was introduced to the world of music at a very young age. His production skills include not only midi but also extensive use of “live” orchestration as well including brass, woodwinds and strings. He is proficient on Logic and Finale. He has recently released an album of thirteen original Jazz tunes called “My Gentle Breeze” featuring many of America’s finest Jazz artists including Dan Jordan, Pat Coil and Dan Haerle. It is currently available on iTunes and CD Baby. For two years in a row, Gerald was invited to participate in a series of Jazz lectures at the Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria, South Africa accompanied by such academic luminaries as Dan Haerle, Scott Wilson, Corey Christiansen, Thomas Taylor and Bob Sinicrope. Today the Gerald lives in Orlando and can occasionally be heard playing live with the house band at Disney’s Grand Floridian and many other Jazz venues.
