SUZY PARK ~ VOCALIST
Suzy began her career in Atlanta, GA where she majored in voice at Kennesaw State University. Disney moved her to Orlando in 1990 to join the “Voices of Liberty”. She then went on to perform with “The Girlfriends” at the HyaK Grand Cypress for 9 years. In 2005 she closed “American Vybe”, an a cappella jazz & blues group, at Epcot aRer a 5 year run.
Suzy’s live performances include Carnegie Hall with salsa arTst Tito Nieves and the Hampton Jazz FesTval where she opened for David Sanborn. She has been a featured vocalist with the St. Johns River City Big Band, Benny Goodman and Tommy Dorsey Orchestras. As well as local big bands The Orlando Jazz Orchestra, The Phoenix Jazz Orchestra and The Naples Jazz Orchestra.
Her recording credits are numerous and include; Disney, Warner Brothers, Fox and the Orlando Pops. She has recorded with local arTsts Groove Logic, Tamara Danielson and Captain Harry. Suzy’s own C.D. with the Harold Blanchard Trio is enTtled, “Soulful Fourcast”. She is featured on Yanni’s Ethnicity recording and Gloria Gaynor’s Christmas Presence.
Suzy is in demand as a studio and live event singer. She can be seen locally at the Grand Bohemian Hotel, Eddie V’s and Vines Grille.
