Born into a musical family, Suzy’s father John Park played saxophone with Stan Kenton and was a well known jazz educator/clinician. Suzy moved to Orlando from Atlanta in 1990 to perform with the Voices of Liberty at Epcot and later performed with The Girlfriends (a girls trio) for 9 years. While there, she branched out on her own and began singing studio sessions as well as gigging with local artists and bands. This lead her down a path to recording with Yanni, Gloria Gaynor and salsa artist Tito Nieves. She has been a featured singer with The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra and shared the stage with Michael McDonald. Some of her live performance highlights include Carnegie Hall with salsa artist Tito Nieves (whom she’s been a BGV with for 15 years) and opening for David Sanborn at the Hampton Jazz Festival. Suzy is a versatile singer in a wide range of styles but considers jazz to be her favorite!
